Like the other monitors that have been mentioned, it has a very low response time and a high quality display. It’s another curved monitor, which works very well with the wideness of the monitor itself. It has an 1800R curvature, which is definitely better for your eyes and long hours of gameplay.

What I do really like about this MSI monitor is that it has different game modes for you to utilize. You can switch over to eye saver mode if you want to protect your eyes, or movie mode when you want to put a film on. There’s also a special mode just for fps games too, which can come in handy.

As well as this, it also features both blue light blocking technology and a flicker free screen too. Both of these are probably necessary if you spend a lot of time gaming like the majority of us do. Oh, and the AMD FreeSync tech also eliminates any kind of stuttering.

If you’re looking to upgrade your current gaming monitor, then this would likely be a big step up up in class. It’s only 250 nits in brightness, which some may tell you isn’t enough – though personally I think that it’s more than sufficient.

Remember that this is a gaming monitor, so it’s not really going to be a good choice for anything else than this – it’s awful for reading text, though it’s probably be great for editing etc). But if you want the fastest possible monitor, then this is another one to consider.

As well as having it’s own gaming mode which helps to improve graphics and get a better contrast ratio, it also has good user design for gamers too. It will easily allow you to make all the necessary changes you need to specifically for gaming, which is pretty handy.

The curved screen will be a good factor for most people, especially if you prefer gaming alone – it can help to immerse you into the gameplay. I should probably mention the high contrast ratio too, which is down to using VA panel technology. It’s 3000:1, which is quite impressive for a monitor, and can definitely make for good gameplay (especially for spooky single games that benefit from a higher contrast ratio).

It has 2 HDMI ports and the ability to connect via Displayport too, as well as having a pretty respectable 4ms response time. Bear in mind that only 1 HDMI port has 144Hz capabilities, whilst the other has a max refresh rate of 60Hz.

All of this makes for a fast refresh rate and an excellent image quality. In conclusion, this is another good 1400p monitor that might suit if you’re looking for something subtle to blend in with the rest of your setup.

They tend to make cheaper alternatives to the big gaming brands, and one of their better releases is the model AG241QX, which is a fair price and has everything you could need in a monitor.

This monitor is Free Sync 2 compatible, which as you’ve probably guessed is a step up on the previous version. It’s better than your previous version, and it’ll help your monitor by using variable refresh rates.

Whilst this was designed for use with AMD GPUs, it’s also compatible with Nvidia GPU’s as well. But for this, you’ll need to connect via Displayport (which is included!), not HDMI.

It offers a high quality crisp picture, it has a good level of brightness that manages to be quite soft on the eyes. This is much improved on the previous model of this monitor, and you can easily switch through modes to find the right one for you. Although the brand is less well known than more popular names out there, it still has a good build quality and is well designed.
