Our Verdict:
The RTX 3070 is perfect for those looking for a powerful graphics card for a future-proofed 1080p 144Hz and 1440p gaming. It is better than the RTX 2080 Ti in performance and comes at a lesser price than it. Nvidia took a step in the right direction with RTX 30-series graphics cards. They offer better performance per dollar when compared with the 20-series RTX cards.

The RTX 3070 is based on Nvidia’s Ampere architecture. It comes with the improved 2nd Gen RT cores and 3rd Gen Tensor Cores that enhance the ray tracing and DLSS abilities of this graphics card. It has 5888 CUDA cores running 1500 MHz. They can be boosted up to 1725 MHz. It has an 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM which is generous.

It is an excellent choice for a high refresh rate 1080p and 1440p gaming. Almost all AAA games run flawlessly on it at high graphics preset without any FPS drops.

Out of all the games I tested, Cyberpunk 2077 and Watch Dogs: Legion really made good use of the Ray tracing capability of this graphics card. The visuals were stunning and the difference in gameplay was definitely felt when I turned it off.

The DLSS feature truly helps boost FPS. It was very helpful when I was testing the earlier versions of Cyberpunk 2077.

The RTX 3070 is a fairly power efficient graphics card thanks to the Ampere architecture. It has a TDP rating of only 220W. It uses a single 12-pin power connector. It uses a PCI-Express 4.0 x16 interface to connect to the motherboard.

The RTX 3070 runs quietly without being too hot. Both the founder’s edition cards and the third-party cards (Zotac RTX 3070 and Gigabyte RTX 3070) were running cool.

The RTX 3070 is an excellent card overall. It should be decent enough to run games at 120+ FPS at high graphics settings 3 to 4 years down the lane.

It is an ideal choice for most gamers. I do not have anything bad to say about it. It is very hard to ignore the RTX 3070, especially when you look at its affordable price tag.

Our Verdict:
The RTX 3060 Ti is the perfect value for money graphics card in 2023. It is better than the RTX 2080 Super in almost all aspects and has a lower price tag. It can handle almost all the latest games at 100+ FPS at a high-graphics setting at 1080p. You can also use it for 1440p gaming. If you can get your hands on it, simply go for it! It is impressive in every way.

The RTX 3060 Ti is based on Nvidia’s Ampere architecture. It uses 38 2nd Gen RT cores and 152 3rd Gen Tensor cores that perform 2x better than the previous generation.

It has 4864 CUDA cores. Its base clock speed is 1410 Mhz and it can be boosted up to 1665 MHz. It has a generous 8GB GDDR6 VRAM which should be plenty for most gamers.

The Ray tracing and DLSS technologies are now getting the credit they deserve thanks to games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Watch Dogs: Legion that makes full use of them. DLSS technology is excellent. It helped us achieve a boost in FPS without having to compromise on quality while playing Cyberpunk 2077.

The RTX 3060 Ti is perfect for fast-paced 1080p and 1440p Gaming. Except for a few handful titles like Cyberpunk 2077 where you’ll need to tweak settings, you can run almost all games at both resolutions at high graphic settings without any worry of FPS drops.

The RTX 3060 Ti has an impressive TDP rating of only 200W. A 600W Power supply should be decent enough for it. It uses a single 12-pin power connector. It is a dual-slot card and uses a PCI-Express 4.0 x16 interface to connect to the motherboard.

It comes with a decent cooling system. You get a two-fan design for Founder’s Editions and a three-fan cooling system for third-party cards. It is decent enough to maintain optimal temperatures without generating any disturbing noise even when overclocked.

In the end, I have nothing but good things to say about the RTX 3060 Ti. It offers excellent value for money to the consumer. It is perfect for 1080p 144Hz gaming in 2023. There is no reason to even look at the previous RTX 20-series graphics cards when you can buy this one for a lesser price.

Our Verdict:
The Radeon RX 6800 is an excellent value for the money graphics card. It is powerful enough to run all the latest games at ultra-settings at 120+ FPS in 1080p resolution. It is close to the RTX 3080 in terms of performance while costing $120 – $100 less than it. The Radeon RX 6800 offers you a better performance per dollar and lowers the entry barrier for a fast-paced 1440p gaming experience. I would definitely recommend it.

The RX 6800 is powered by the RDNA 2.0 architecture. It has 3840 Cores running at 1700MHz. They can be boosted up to 2105 MHz. It also has a massive 16 GB GDDR6 VRAM.

Ray tracing has finally come to AMD cards. The RX 6800 has 60 RT cores for ray tracing. Its ray tracing performance is not on par with its Nvidia counterparts. I observed that FPS took a noticeable drop when I turned on ray tracing.

Honestly, for ray tracing and DLSS, I would suggest you go with the RTX 3080  and RTX 3070 Graphics cards. AMD is new to the Ray tracing game and needs to do some tweaking before it competes with Nvidia face-to-face.

The RX 6800 has a fair TDP rating of 250W. It consumes reasonably less power thanks to the RDNA 2.0 architecture. It uses two 8-pin power connectors. Its cooling system is also efficient and helps maintain optimal temperatures.

If you want high FPS in games and comfortable with an average Ray tracing experience and no DLSS, the RX 6800 is a great choice. Its price tag offers unbeatable value for money.

Consider yourself set for a high FPS 1080p gaming at ultra-graphics settings in the latest AAA games (including Cyberpunk 2077 and Watch Dogs: Legion). You can also do 1440p gaming at high FPS with the RX 6800. For its price tag, I couldn’t ask for more.

Our Verdict:
The RX 5700 XT is a solid graphics card for both 1440p and 1080p gaming. You’ll easily reach 100+ FPS in most games even at ultra graphics settings. Its price to performance ratio makes it one of the best bang-for-buck graphics cards we have ever seen. It beats the 2060 Super in almost all the games and at times, competes with the 2070 Super. Its superior performance and the affordable price tag earn this graphics card the first place in our list. It is truly one of the better-valued graphics cards AMD has ever created.

The RX 5700 XT is powered by the Navi GPU that is based on the RDNA architecture. This is the first graphics card to use the Navi GPU architecture. It has 2560 cores (or Stream processors as AMD calls them) working for you at 1605MHz. They can be boosted all the way to 1905MHz.

The Anti-Lag technology when paired with a FreeSync monitor makes a Lag-free, tear-free, and stutter-free gaming experience possible. It also supports VR headsets out of the box.

The RX 5700 XT has a TDP rating of 225W for which a 600W power supply is recommended. This can be considered a fair power rating for its performance. It uses a 6-pin and 8-pin power connector.

The blower-styled cooling system in reference cards is mediocre. We suggest going with a 3rd party graphics card. The 3rd party coolers are efficient and are less noisy compared to the blower-style cooler. It is a dual-slot card and uses a PCI-Express 4.0 x 16 interface to connect to the motherboard.

Its display outputs include 1x HDMI, 3x DisplayPort using which you can connect up to 4 high-resolution monitors.
