LDNIO’s desktop charging station has been designed with the latest “GaN III” technology and advanced chips, ensuring both your safety and that of your device. Thanks to its top-notch protection features — such as over-current, over-voltage, overcharge, short-circuit and temperature control — your devices will remain secure while you power up.

Our Experience

Although we have tested many chargers (check one of our other reviews here), the real challenge is identifying an accessible AC outlet that can accommodate a multitude of them. The LDNIO 120W 4-Port Desktop Charger offers four ports with power supplied from just a single AC outlet. And the convenience of having both USB-A and USB-C ports is a lifesaver.

All in all, we were delighted with the LDNIO Charger. It features a convenient little LED strip above its USB-C ports that turns green when connected to power and stays lit while there is an active device plugged into it. If no devices are attached, the light will switch off after two minutes — so you always know when your charger remains powered up.

Including an Off/On switch on the unit would have been ideal. As a workaround, though, the User Guide suggests unplugging the charger after each use if its AC power plug is difficult to access. Other than that minor issue, our experience with the charging capacities of this LDNIO 120W 4-Port Desktop Charger was entirely satisfactory.

We put our 12.9-inch iPad Pro and a large portable power bank to the test by draining both down to 50% battery. When we charged them with traditional blocks, it took 1 hour and 10 minutes for the iPad to fully charge, while the power bank required 3 hours of charging time — that is until we tried out this LDNIO 120W charger.

To our surprise, it only took 25 minutes to hit 100% on the iPad Pro and just 1 hour and 15 minutes to charge our large power bank.

Pricing & Availability

LDNIO offers an unparalleled guarantee. If you’re unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return the product and receive a full refund within 30 days after the date of purchase.

In terms of pricing and availability, you can buy the LDNIO 4-Port GaN USB-C PD Quick Charger on Amazon for $69 in the US (at the time of publication). With the purchase of LDNIO’s 120W 4-Port Desktop Charger, you’ll receive a 12-month warranty and lifelong customer assistance!

Conclusion

Traditionally, we relied on Apple power bricks for our devices due to the lack of quality in third-party options. The other brands simply couldn’t create comparable products that wouldn’t damage your precious MacBooks or iPhones.

But over time, these external manufacturers have significantly improved their goods and can now offer a level of excellence equal to Apple’s own supplies – even surpassing it in some cases.

So if you’re looking for new tech accessories without breaking the bank, non-Apple sources like LDNIO’s 4 Port GaN USB-C PD Quick Charger are worth considering.
