LDNIO 4 Port GaN USB-C PD Quick Charger – What’s Inside the Box
Inside the LDNIO 4 Port GaN USB-C PD Quick Charger box, you will find an AC power cord and a User Guide. This charger is 3.35” long x 1.85” wide x 1.85” deep (85.09 mm x 46.99mm x 46,99mm), and it has a self-switching 100V – 240V, 50/60Hz, 2.5A power supply, so you can conveniently use it in the US and abroad.
Boasting a generous 5-foot AC cord with both an American standard 2-prong plug and a non-polarized C7 style connector on the other end, there is no pesky power brick to deal with. Plus, its length ensures it reaches any nearby power outlets easily.
The LDNIO 120W 4-Port Desktop Charger features four outputs at the front — two USB-C outlets and two USB-A ports below them.
Features & Benefits
The LDNIO 4 Port GaN USB-C PD Quick Charger is outfitted with a USB-C output that can deliver 100W of fast charging power. With its tremendous speed, the manufacturer boasts that you can charge your MacBook Pro 16″ in 1.7 hours — an incredible 3X faster than the original iPhone charger. Furthermore, this powerhouse device has dual USB-C PD ports to support simultaneous quick charging for two laptops.
You can charge up to four devices simultaneously. The charger supplies up to 120W of power, allowing you to charge your MacBook, iPad, iPhone, and AirPods simultaneously. The LDNIO 120W USB C desktop charger supports a range of charging protocols, including Power Delivery 3.0/Quick Charge 3.0/PPS/AFC, making it compatible with a wide range of devices.
LDNIO’s desktop charging station has been designed with the latest “GaN III” technology and advanced chips, ensuring both your safety and that of your device. Thanks to its top-notch protection features — such as over-current, over-voltage, overcharge, short-circuit and temperature control — your devices will remain secure while you power up.
The LDNIO desktop charger comes with a 5-foot two-prong AC extended power cord, allowing you to adjust the charging distance conveniently.
Although we have tested many chargers (check one of our other reviews here), the real challenge is identifying an accessible AC outlet that can accommodate a multitude of them. The LDNIO 120W 4-Port Desktop Charger offers four ports with power supplied from just a single AC outlet. And the convenience of having both USB-A and USB-C ports is a lifesaver.
All in all, we were delighted with the LDNIO Charger. It features a convenient little LED strip above its USB-C ports that turns green when connected to power and stays lit while there is an active device plugged into it. If no devices are attached, the light will switch off after two minutes — so you always know when your charger remains powered up.
Including an Off/On switch on the unit would have been ideal. As a workaround, though, the User Guide suggests unplugging the charger after each use if its AC power plug is difficult to access. Other than that minor issue, our experience with the charging capacities of this LDNIO 120W 4-Port Desktop Charger was entirely satisfactory.
We put our 12.9-inch iPad Pro and a large portable power bank to the test by draining both down to 50% battery. When we charged them with traditional blocks, it took 1 hour and 10 minutes for the iPad to fully charge, while the power bank required 3 hours of charging time — that is until we tried out this LDNIO 120W charger.
To our surprise, it only took 25 minutes to hit 100% on the iPad Pro and just 1 hour and 15 minutes to charge our large power bank.

Traditionally, we relied on Apple power bricks for our devices due to the lack of quality in third-party options. The other brands simply couldn’t create comparable products that wouldn’t damage your precious MacBooks or iPhones.
But over time, these external manufacturers have significantly improved their goods and can now offer a level of excellence equal to Apple’s own supplies – even surpassing it in some cases.
So if you’re looking for new tech accessories without breaking the bank, non-Apple sources like LDNIO’s 4 Port GaN USB-C PD Quick Charger are worth considering.
