HP Spectre 13 x360

HP Spectre 13 x 360 13.3-Inch Full HD Touch-Screen Convertible Laptop with Stylus - (Grey) (Nightfall Black) (Intel Core i7-1065G7, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, FHD IR Webcam, Windows 10 Home)

Operating System: Windows OS | Screen size: 13.3 Inch | RAM: 8GB | Storage: 512GB SSD | Processor: Intel i7 | Average Battery Life: 9 hours

This is undoubtedly one of my favourite HP laptops that’s been released in the last few years, and it’s the best out of all the x360s that HP have made. This is quite a big feat, as there’s actually quite a few different variations made by HP including a Chromebook version of the x360 that’s pretty impressive too.

It’s designed as a 2-in-1 laptop, so the hinge of the laptop actually allows 360 rotation. This way, you can use this as both a laptop, and a tablet too. This style has become more popular over the past 5 years, with many people looking for something that can do both.

It has pretty much everything you could ask for from a laptop, with 8GB of RAM supported by a solid Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor. This is a pretty standard i7 processor, with 4 cores and 8 threads. It’s an i7 nonetheless, with a base clocking speed of 1.30 GHz, and a max of 3.90GHz.

The Spectre x360 has sufficient storage installed with it, and as it’s a tablet too, it also has a high quality touchscreen. This touchscreen display is great for viewing, but it’s also very responsive as well.

It comes with a Stylus included with it, which means that it’s very easy for you to draw and design with this laptop. Even if you’re not an avid artist, it can be quite a nice addition to have.

All in all, this is definitely one of the best quality 2-in-1 models out there, and it’s one of the best HP laptops that they’ve released in the last few years.

HP OMEN 15-dh1013na

HP OMEN 15-dh1013na 15.6 Inch Full HD, 144 Hz Gaming Laptop, Intel Core i7-10750H, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super (8 GB Dedicated) Graphics, Windows 10 Home - Black

Operating System: Windows OS | Screen size: 15.6 inch | RAM: 16GB | Storage: 1TB SSD | Processor: Intel i7 | Average Battery Life: 9.5 hours

As well as your everyday laptop, HP also have a good line of gaming laptops out there too. One of the best that they’ve released is this HP Omen model, which has all you could ever want from a gaming laptop wrapped up into one 15.6 inch package.

When we’re looking for a good laptop for gaming, the first thing to look for is the GPU. This is more crucial in a gaming laptop than in a regular laptop, and it’s important that your laptop has a good one. This model uses a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080, which is a newer graphics card that’s got great reviews about its performance.

You also want to check out the other specs that the laptop offers as well. The 16GB of RAM will be more than enough for all the games you want to play, and the i7 processor is good too. It’s an i7-10750H, which has 6 cores and a max clocking frequency of 5.0GHz. It comes with a full terabyte of storage as well, which is pretty solid.

From a display perspective, the monitor has a strong 144Hz refresh rate, perfect for gaming. It’s a thin design. but it still manages to pack in enough cooling technology to ensure that it doesn’t get too hot.

So, what can we conclude about this HP Omen model? Well, it’s a pretty solid gaming laptop from HP, and it’s available at a pretty good price too.

HP Pavilion 15-cs3000na

HP Pavilion 15-cs3000na 15.6 Inch Full HD Laptop, Intel Core i5-1035G1, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (3 GB GDDR5 dedicated) Graphics, Windows 10 Home, Silver

Operating System: Windows OS | Screen size: 15.6 inch | RAM: 8GB | Storage: 512GB SSD | Processor: Intel i5 | Average Battery Life: 8.5 hours

Not all HP laptops are expensive, and this Pavilion 15-cs3000na is a good example of a more reasonably priced laptop model. It has all of the necessary specs that you’ll need from a laptop- 8GB RAM and an i5 processor should be enough to get your day to day tasks completed.

This is a well-rounded laptop that’s good across the board. It’s not too heavy, it’s fairly thin and the display is pretty good too. Made to be specifically anti-glare, the non-reflective display also has a good contrast ratio, and it can produce some amazing visuals.

This is in part due to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card, which is of a gaming standard. This is a pretty well known and liked GPU, and although now it’s a few years old, it’s perfectly capable of producing a great image.

Nothing really stands out about this laptop, but in the same breath, there’s nothing bad about it either. It’s overall a pretty solid laptop choice, and if you’re looking for something reliable in the long term, then it would likely be a good investment.

HP Chromebook 14-db0003na

HP Chromebook 14' Laptop PC 14-db0003sa, AMD A4, 4GB RAM, 32GB SSD, HD, Chalkboard grey

Operating System: Chrome OS | Screen size: 14 inch | RAM: 4GB | Storage: 32B eMMC | Processor: AMD Dual Core A4 | Average Battery Life: 5 hours

Not everyone needs to spend thousands on a new laptop. No, in some cases you can get away with spending less than just a few hundred on a new laptop. And the new HP Chromebook series is a good example of that.

Firstly, you have to get on board with the Chrome OS as opposed to Windows. this essentially gets rid of a lot of the downloaded programs on the device, and instead you’ll mainly be running things from your Chrome browser. If all you do it check your emails and browse the internet anyway, then a Chromebook might be right for you.

They tend to be a lot faster than Windows laptops, and this allows brands like HP to make them at a super cheap price. You are meant to use cloud storage (like Google Drive) instead of laptop storage, as this model only comes with 32GB of eMMC storage.

But this is a light snappy laptop that’s very portable, and it’s a good choice for those who don’t need all of the software that Windows offer. You can still download some apps, and you can still use things like Word with your Chromebook too – it’s just some more complex programs you can’t.

But overall, you can pick one of these up for just a few hundred, and it might be a good way to save some cash. It’s generally a good idea to look at a Chromebook if you’re only a casual user.
